Reporting to the Retail Manager, the store manager will ensure the store is running efficiently. Alongside with his/her team, the Store Manager will drive sales and performance of the store and continually create an engaging client experience and long-term relationships with clients.
The Store Manager is responsible for store operations in order to achieve their store targets while ensuring customer service.
The Store Manager responsibilities include:
TEAM MANAGEMENT
Direct management of sales teams, motivation and coaching on the floor in order to achieve targets
Motivates sales teams on a daily basis, developing the AMI corporate culture in order to guarantee a harmonious and motivating work environment
Supervision, training, and development of a high performing team
Management and monitoring of schedules and annual leave monitoring that the staff is sufficient to guarantee the smooth running of the store
Training of the team on products and brand knowledge
Lead and host daily briefs
Participation in the recruitment of his team
DRIVING SALES
The Store Manager’s mission is to drive sales while creating a dynamic environment with excellent customer service:
Monitoring of store and team KPIs in order to achieve qualitative and quantitative targets
Supports team to achieve individual and team sales targets
Provides daily reports to the Retail Manager
Works closely with merchandising team by communicating and providing feedback and better knowledge of the customers
Sees business opportunity and possible challenges to help initiate changes and improve the business
Ensures application of retail processes in store
CUSTOMER RELATIONS
The Store Manager spread the AMI spirit by offering alongside with his/her team a unique customer experience:
Ensures customer service meets “AMI service in store” standards to guarantee the best service
Welcomes customers according to AMI values: Commitment, Creativity, Optimism & Confidence
Understands customer needs and proposes a relevant selection of products while encouraging cross selling.
Drives the team to fully embrace a customer loyalty culture and develop customer file
Leads CRM operations in store
OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT
The Store Manager is responsible of the store image:
Monitoring of accounting operations in collaboration with AMI accounting service and local accounting partner
Monitoring stocks, deliveries, stock output, loans, defective, transfers, cycle counting, pending delivery ...
Active participation in the store’s annual stock take. The store manager is responsible for the results of his store.
Management of staff uniform selections, compliance with guidelines and stock output
Stock management to ensure that sales potential is maximized
Guarantees the application of VM standards and is responsible for the general condition of the store
Job requirements
REQUIRED PROFILE
Significative experience in retail management
Experience in luxury sales and/or designer clothing
Familiar with sales techniques
Smiling, dynamic, involved, and excellent interpersonal skills
Team player with a strong sense of team leadership to deliver results beyond expectations
Mastering customer service skills and demonstrating ability to foster a customer-service spirit
Strong interest and a good understanding of fashion, a strong familiarity with the luxury market and its trends
French speaking, English required, a third language would be appreciated
Starting date: Octobre 2025
